About the Series

Navigating the Ambiguity of ADHD

ADHD or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder can be diagnosed and treated during any stage of life. In this series, Dr. Domenick Sportelli (Dr. Dom), provides the tools to identify possible signs of ADHD, avoid a misdiagnosis, find a treatment, and determine whether or not that treatment is being effective.

While 35% of teenagers with ADHD eventually drop out of school, a child with untreated ADHD is more likely to also abuse an illegal substance later in life. Dr. Dom explains the best practices that parents and supporters can use to help a teenager balance the symptoms of ADHD while they go through the emotional turbulence of puberty.
